Gosh, I can't believe how long it has been since I have posted anything on here. Too long. I apologize to all those who visit, I know there are few. I am getting ready for my daughter to get home from Bluefield. She has been there for three weeks now. I am nervous about bringing her home. I don't know what to expect. But, I will be very glad to have her back home where she belongs. She will be home about a week and then it is off to diabetes camp. I am also getting ready for a long journey with my mom. She is getting ready to have reconstructive surgery done on what used to be her left breast. The doctors are going to do a tummy tuck and take the materiel they remove from there and move it under her skin up to the chest wall and form it into a breast. And then they will reduce and lift her other breast so she will have a matching pair. Well as close to matching as possible. I pray all goes well and the recovery will be short. I probably won't be able to post for a while. I will be busy caring for mom and taking care of her house and her needs as well as taking care of my home. I hope everyone enjoys the Fourth of July. Alas, I will be missing the festivities this year due to mom's surgery. She will be celebrating her independance from her fake booby. I will post again as soon as I can. Thank you for stopping by.

Been a while since I posted. Since I last posted, My daughter graduated middle school and is now officially a high schooler. Scary! My son Graduated His little school and will be moving next door to intermediate school. My kids are growing up. My hubby is working wiht a contracter remodeling and doing home repairs for the summer and I have some time off to spend with my kids. I just let the daughter go to Bluefield to spend 3 and a 1/2 weeks with grandparents, but she hasn't been there for a while. I think we both needed a break from each other anyway. We both go stir crazy when we have spent too much time together. I took my little boy, Jeremiah, swimming yesterday. Alas the water was too cold and no matter how much I sprayed him down with the cold water hose he couldn't bring himself to jump in the cold pool. So he was not very happy for a while. But dinner at Pizza Hut cheered him up in a hurry. We went to Audra State Park the other day to walk around. I got some great pictures.
