Endo and other stuff.....

Took Cass to the Endo yesterday. He was so very proud of her. I am so proud of her. He is very pleased with her numbers. He also checked her feet for neuropathy. she has been complaining of foot pain and swelling in the evenings. Dr. Jones says that Cass is only five years out from diagnosis, so it is unlikely that she has neuropathy. not to mention she has good control over her numbers.

Inside info I knew nothing about. The doc's wife is a Buckhannon native! How cool is that! And his SIL is in the board system, so that is real neat. I guess she works at the high school. Cass knows her!

We also went shopping and out to lunch yesterday. We went to Bed Bath and Beyond first. I LOVE that store. We walked around in there for a long while. I did not find anything to buy though! Well, I found some stuff, I could buy it all! We also went to TJ Maxx. That store ROCKS! They have nice stuff at great prices! I thought the worst when I walked in there, but really, Was surprised. We got hungry and decided to go to lunch. Cass took me to the Olive Garden. That was my mothers day gift, since she won't be home to take get me anything this weekend. That was wonderful!. I had Manicotti! mmmm mmmm. Was that good! After we ate we went back up to do some more shopping. We had such a good time. I enjoyed that so much. We went to Sally Beauty Supply and they had cool sunglasses in there that were real cheap. We got a matching pair, but hers are black and mine are brown. We then went down to Target. Cass found a couple of swim suits, and to beat all, she got them off the clearance rack! Thought I was gonna fall over! I wanted a nice outfit for Mother's Day, so we went on the hunt for an outfit. I found this real cute navy blue skirt with a button up white sweater. I got a navy tank to go underneath the sweater. And I got the most adorable pumps! AHH! I will have the Dear Hubby take pics and will post them later on.

We got home from our long day of Endo and shopping and had to go to Norton to get some stuff Cass left at a friends house. I was dreading that trip, and really didn't want to go. Well, by the time I got home I felt so good! I got to see a rainbow in a cloud on the way over and it was so pretty! It looked like it was blue on purple on blue, not your normal rainbow and it was only in the clouds. When we got to Mammies I got to set down and talk to Mammie for a while. she is such a doll! I loved it. I can't wait to go back. We came home and there was another rainbow in the clouds. I got pics of this one. I will post them later. If they turned out, I haven't even uploaded them from the cam yet. Well, Yet another day in the life of myself and the family.

Today I need to run to the bank and cash a check for Cass so she will have money for Acquire the Fire this weekend. I need to run her pee sample up to the lab this morning. Yeah Doc jones wants to check her urine for... uh... got to get the papers. Ahh good they were still in my purse. He wants to check for microalbumin. I need to research that one. Then I gotta go to work. I work two more weeks and I am done! for the summer anyway. Am getting so ready for a break! Getting ready nothing, I AM Ready!
