Well Easter was very interesting this year. Anybody out there heard of ramps better known as leeks to the rest of the world? It is well known in my husbands family that I don't like ramps. I despise them, abore them, detest them and gag at them. I also don't like pickled eggs. We went over to my Father-in-laws for lunch and I had a run in with ramps and pickled eggs. I was so out of there. I ate in the very back room of the house. It was so nasty. I keep telling myself I should be greatful for a hot meal. There are people out there who didn't have a family or food for Easter. But the smells I came in contact with today ruined a wonderful Easter dinner with my beloved family. Anybody else have bad food for their Easter dinner?
